Barbara Marrou

Barbara Marrou has traveled the world as a military dependent living in Germany, New York, Chicago, Southern California, Detroit, Philippines and now has made her home in San Antonio.
Multi-talented, Barbara is a skilled musician and fluent in Spanish and German. Her career has included working at USAA, and for 26 years as the accountant and practice manager for Loop 410 Veterinary Hospital. In her spare time while raising four boys, Barbara branched out to form her own bookkeeping company working with several small companies. Her career also included working at Alford Doebbler and office manager and bookkeeper for JGreen Jewelers. Lee+ Associates was blessed to have Barbara join our team over 10 years ago. She ably supports us as company CFO and joins our teams in Development Assessments, Feasibility Studies and Capital Campaigns.
Barbara began her education as a music major at Central Michigan University but was convinced by a professor to focus on her logical mind. She studied IT and accounting at the University of Texas Austin and UTSA.
Married for 45 years to an accountant, Barbara and Frank have four sons, and 9 grandchildren. A life-long learner and adventurer, she enjoys quilting, playing piano at the church, and teaching piano lessons to her grandchildren. “Bubbie” continues to travel every chance she gets!
