CEO of five different community nonprofit agencies, a regional blood center and an assignment as a corporate officer at American Red Cross-national headquarters, his career spans forty-nine years with three nationally known organizations across four states and six cities.

Active in community organizations, he has served on the Board of The Nonprofit Council, is a former member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the San Antonio Rotary Club, serves on the Public Administration Advisory Board in the College for Health, Community & Policy at UTSA, is Board secretary of the Planned Giving Council of San Antonio, and has provided adjunct instruction to graduate students in the UTSA Public Administration program.

Currently struggling to keep up with the intelligence, energy, and attitude of his nine-year-old granddaughter, he embraces life as husband to Beth, dad to Chris and Nick, the aforementioned role of Gampy to Anabelle, and consulting on the issues of the day in the nonprofit sector.
